Gondiya

Gondia is located in Maharashtra, a western Indian state. The district of Bhandara was used to establish it. It lies in the state’s north-eastern corner, bordering the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. According to historical records and stories, the Haihaya Rajput monarchs of Chhattisgarh, whose empire was known as Maha Kosala, included Gondia area in their holdings in the seventh century. Gondia or Gondiya, which was once part of the Bhandara area, has some traces of Hindu rulers who governed from Nagardhan.
